Gibson Les Paul High Performance 2019 - Heritage Cherry Fade

The Modern Player's Les Paul, with 150+ Voicing Options

Cryogenically treated frets, advanced pickup switching, and Grover Rotomatic tuners make today's Les Paul High Performance better than ever. Adorned with an truly gorgeous AAA+ maple top on an Ultra-Modern weight-relieved mahogany body and filled with the latest performance innovations, the Les Paul High Performance is armed for the most intense stage and studio requirements. Modern players will be instantly drawn to the HP's Asymmetrical SlimTaper neck profile, wider Soloist neck width, compound-radius fretboard, and Fast Access heel. And tone freaks will have plenty to sink their teeth in to , with the HP's split/tapped Burstbucker PAF pickups with four push-pull pots and five internal DIP switches, together unleashing over 150 sonic possibilities. All the while, stable Grover Rotomatic tuners, titanium saddles, and an adjustable zero-fret nut ensure precise action and intonation.

Great-playing modern neck

The Les Paul High Performance is great playing and built to last. Its D-shaped Asymmetrical SlimTaper neck profile comfortably fills the hands whether you play thumb-over or thumb-behind. And its 10"–16" compound-radius fingerboard is rounder near the nut for cowboy-chording and flatter up the neck for smoother runs and bigger bends. Meanwhile, cryogenically frets, which last up to four times longer than traditional frets, keep this Les Paul in playing shape for many years to come.

DIP switches and push-pull pots allow over 150 tonal options

The tone and volume controls on the Les Paul High Performance are a push-pull in nature , and five internal DIP switches determine how these controls work. By setting these DIP switches to your preference, you can access coil splits, coil taps, and a highpass filter for each pickup, determine if you want the pickups to be in or out of phase, and even engage a transient suppression circuit for avoiding unwanted output peaks when recording direct.

High-quality Grover Rotomatic tuners

Another feature which sets this Les Paul High Performance above the rest is its Grover Rotomatic tuning machines. Grover has been keeping the world's finest stringed instruments, including Gibsons, in tune for over a century. The HP's advanced Rotomatics feature an 18:1 tuning ratio for exacting tuning requirements.
